Share Your ACA
Renewal Notice

Got a health insurance renewal notice with much higher premiums in 2026?

You’re not alone. Insurers are sending similar letters and emails to millions of Americans who get their coverage through HealthCare.gov or their state Marketplace.

These increases are happening because the enhanced ACA tax credits — which have helped make Marketplace coverage affordable for millions — are set to expire at the end of 2025.

The good news: these higher premiums aren’t final yet. Lawmakers can still extend the enhanced tax credits, but they need to see how their expiration would affect real people.

Policymakers and journalists are asking for examples from their communities to understand the impact of these possible increases. Sharing your renewal notice helps them see what’s happening and strengthens the case to keep coverage affordable.

This effort is organized by the Good Government Group Ambassadors, a nonpartisan civic engagement network of healthcare professionals and community advocates across the United States.
